Well where else would you go to watch a Penn State game and find a crowd? The Oyster Pub of course. Met up with the local chapter of Penn State's Alumni Associate and were welcomed in graciously.
So about the Oyster Pub, food was great and great selection of cocktails and beers. The wings were sauced well while big and flavorful. Waitresses were helpful and attentive with such a large crowd. We enjoyed the food, staff and Penn State game!!

Visited based on what I saw on Yelp. I love oysters so was really excited to get the charbroiled oysters. Got 6 raw and 6 of the charbroiled. They were both great!! The charbroiled were different, but tasted awesome. The raw were shucked right in front of me which was pretty cool.
Also had the Mahi tacos, those were not as good. They were kind of dry, could have used a little something to add some more flavor and change the texture a bit.
Overall not bad, would maybe go back and try something different. -

We arrived In Dayton Beach late in the evening and needed a place to eat. I looked a for a late night pub & Oyster Pub popped up. It was a short drive from our hotel.
We arrived and the place was packed. It's a BIG sports bar, TV's all over. We were seated immediately. There were two waitresses attending to our table. Both very cordial & accommodating.
My wife & I each ordered oyster on the half shell, clams & steamer clams don't remember all that was ordered. This took place in Feb of 2017 & I'm finally finishing the review.
All I have to say is that we were treated very well & at midnight the place was hopping.
Would highly recommend it. -

This is a great spot to fulfill any of your seafood cravings. Now, I'm not usually a fan of cooked oysters (usually eat them raw), but hands down you must try the chargrilled oysters! It was so good that I had to get a second round of them. The charcoal flavor and bubbly cheese fits perfectly well with the oyster. You won't be disappointed! Also tried some raw oysters, the clams casino and peel and eat shrimp. All which were fresh tasting and cooked well. But of course, those chargrilled oysters were the star! I would definitely come back for another visit to eat them again.

It's a dive bar. The menus have old food stuck to them, the furnishings are old and worn, the wait staff is mechanically friendly, and the food is nearly okay.
Seems that it's difficult to get your hot entrees served hot as opposed to being delivered luke warm. CHECK YOUR BILL CAREFULLY BEFORE PAYING!!
